Adrenelean 10 by APS - New Ephedra Diet Pill Available at FitFuel.com!

Adrenelean10 by Advanced Performance Supplements (APS) has finally arrived at FitFuel.com. This advanced fat-burner and diet pill contains ephedra (recently legalized thanks to both a Utah ruling and a different part of ephedra being used in these new supplements) and other thermogenic ingredients. Called a “Lipo-Incinerator” by the manufacturer, this product will also give you serious amounts of energy and is not recommended for those beginner diet-pill consumers. Advanced weight-loss participants only!

Do not take Adrenelean-10 after 5pm or within 6-8 hours of sleep. If you do, you won’t be able to sleep! This supplement provides a large amount of energy and increases one’s heart-rate, so don’t take it if you’re just going to settle-down afterwards.

Supplement Pyramid

We’ve all seen the food pyramid since the time we were in the first grade. Now, Fit Fuel has unveiled the supplement pyramid.

It’s important to remember that–even though not listed–a BALANCED diet is a prerequisite to even starting to work your way up this pyramid. If there was a bottom level, a balanced diet would be it. In order to keep it supplement-focused, though, we left this out and started with your basic mulit-vitamins instead.

The bottom period supplements are basic vitamins and minerals that almost everybody can benefit from. The top section of the period (the 4th level) contains supplements that a small percentage of people have a need for and these supplements should only be taken (and they can work most effectively) when you’re supplementing your body with supplements from the three tiers below it first.

The Real Las Vegas Health Scare

By now you’ve probably heard about the recent Las Vegas ricin scare, but a Sin City story getting slightly less national publicity should have everyone thinking long and hard about public health and safety.

40,000 people may have potentially been exposed to hepatitis B, hepatitis C, and even HIV because a local endoscopy center was re-using single-dose vials of medication, a practice widely known to pass infection. I previously blogged about economics potentially affecting our health, but never in my wildest dreams (or worst nightmares) could I have imagined that a professional clinic would knowingly choose to put the health of its patients at risk in order to cut costs.

Being the cynic that I am, I automatically assume that the Nevada center in question is not the only clinic willing to sacrifice safety in order to keep profits high. It’s easy to forget that health clinics, hospitals, and doctors’ offices have the same incentives as all other businesses; minimizing costs maximizes profits and keeps the business running. Even the “not-for-profits” have to keep their costs down, but how can we possibly know what lengths our medical providers will go to in order to stay in the black?

One can only hope that this recent story will, at the very least, encourage other facilities that may be operating in a similar fashion to rethink their policies. We all know an enormous class-action lawsuit is coming (the Vegas lawyer ads are already all over the local TV stations); unfortunately, no amount of money is going to undo the potentially life-changing consequences of this clinic’s blatant disregard for the health of its patients.

Biotin - Essential B Vitamin

B vitamins have gotten a lot of hype lately. But before you go out snorting mounds of Vitamin B powder (not recommended), it’s good to learn a thing or two about some of the components of the complex of vitamins that is collectively called “The B Vitamins”.

One of the more powerful, Vitamin B 7, is known by another common name: Biotin. Biotin is a water-soluble vitamin that plays a key role in metabolism and helps to reduce fatigue. It is also an essential component of many supplements on the market that help to improve hair, skin and nails — as stand alone supplements, these products are great, but they also make a great complement to homeopathic HGH supplements.

Many common foods are rich in Biotin, including poultry, broccoli, spinach and egg yolks (though the cholesterol of egg yolks probably outweighs any benefit you could get from Biotin).

For those of you who aren’t thrilled by your choices of foods for biotin intake, Fit Fuel sells a few great Biotin supplements that make it painless to get an adequate amount of the vitamin into your body. These biotin caps cost only $5.99 and can do your body a world of good!
